The nearest airport is San Javier, approximately 40 minutes drive to the resort, with Alicante airport a little further away. And the good news is the new international airport at Corvera is due to open in April 2011 which will be only a 15 minute drive to Condado de Alhama.
Cheap flights to Murcia San Javier are available from the following airlines:-
- Jet2.com from Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Blackpool, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Belfast.
- Ryanair from Leeds & Bradford, East Midlands, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Liverpool, Stanstead, Luton, Glasgow, Dublin, Shannon and Doncaster.
- Easyjet from Manchester, all London airports, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool and Newcastle and Gatwick
- Monarch from Manchester, Birmingham and Gatwick.
- BMI Baby from Birmingham and Cardiff.
Car hire is recommended and there are a number of car hire companies within the arrivals hall at San Javier airport and in the airport terminal building at Alicante. The resort of Condado de Alhama is easily accessed by the motorway network and detailed travel directions will be sent to you prior to departure.
